VP NOLI ON DRILON KIDNAPPING

I condemn the abduction of Ces Drilon and her crew, Jimmy Encarnacion and Angelo Valderama. I am urging whoever might have abducted Drilon and her group not to harm them and to release them immediately. We should respect mediamen and appreciate their important role in our democratic society.

I challenge the leadership of the Philippine National Police and the Southern Command of the Armed Forces of the Philippines to resolve this matter quickly and bring Drilon and her crew back safely. Let us also understand the situation of the families of the abductees and lend them support.
