VP NOLI ON JOINING LAKAS-CMD

Vice President Noli “Kabayan” De Castro said that he has the highest respect and admiration for the Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats as a formidable political party but talks about joining Lakas or any other party should be done at a later time.

"My priority at this time is to be able to effectively perform my duty as Vice President , housing czar, presidential adviser on OFWs and to continue my task of monitoring the prices of basic commodities. If I join a political party now, all my efforts to help our countrymen will be given political color. I do not want partisan affiliation to get in the way of effective public service. At this point in time, my priority is to serve our people. And I will always act based on what is in the best interest of our nation," De Castro said.
